2006 Reading List

No one ever really likes my reading lists. I don't know why. I suppose that it doesn't seem very personal, but if you really think about it, you can discover a lot about someone if you observe what they like to read. I also consider it equivalent to an internet book club. Or do people even read anymore?

Just Finished Reading

  1. Belonging by Ron and Nancy Rockey
  2. The Cross and Its Shadow by Stephen Haskell
  3. Reflecting Christ by Ellen White
  4. A Response to the Video: Seventh-day Adventism - the Spirit Behind the Church by Bob Pickle
  5. * edit* Adventist Home by Ellen White (thanks to Jason for reminding me since I finished this quite a while ago)
Currently Reading

  1. The Holy Bible by God
  2. Faith I Live By by Ellen White
  3. Daniel and Revelation by Uriah Smith
  4. Testimonies vol 1 by Ellen White
  5. Here We Stand edited by Samuel Pipim
  6. Uterine Function: Molecular and Cellular Aspects edited by Mary Carsten and Jordan Miller (yes I will eventually finish reading this book since I am supposed to defend my dissertation this spring and this is a classic 600-page text on the subject)
You can also check out my previous reading material here and here.

So now you know what I'm reading. What are you reading?

It's good to see that your non-science reading is limited to the Bible, SOP, or Adventist authors. I wish SDAs would actually read the light God has given us instead of drinking from the wine of Babylon like Rick Warren, Phillip Yancey, Bill Hybel etc.

I'll post my list of reading on my blog.

Interesting list. Maybe I'll have to post my "currently reading" list. At least you and Norman seemingly have to concentrate on one textbook at a time, unlike me.

Did you ever finish Adventist Home? I noticed that it was removed from the current list but was not on the finished list. Good list, Jason

Hey, I'm glad everyone is posting their reading lists on their blogs. I guess people still do read nowadays.

Jason, I finished Adventist Home a while ago but forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me. I've edited my blog post to reflect your comment.
